JIMTEF invites medical practitioners from developing countries with a view to providing them with technical training. Overcoming differences in culture and customs, trainees acquire the skills and knowledge required to improve the medical care environment in their home countries. We also promote international understanding through exchanges between trainees and Japanese people, including local training instructors as well as community residents. Program graduates put into practice the skills and knowledge that they have learned in Japan and work to promote medical technologies in their own countries.
